Necessary defense in favor of contemporary music

Abstract

Taking advantage of the current situation and the value of interdisciplinarity, we are delighted to welcome this publication, which is primarily academic in nature. It refers us to the project of Dr. Rosa Díaz Mayo, from the Autonomous University of Madrid, called CanArts, based on the interaction of contemporary music with the rest of the arts in the Canary Islands, supported by the Candelaria City Council, which unites, in the case of the book, the University of La Laguna and the University of Gran Canaria.
